(a) Personal Information. We collect information that personally identifies you, such as your username, email address, and such other information when you register. You will have to enter ("personal information") to complete your profile setup after registering. For example, you must enter information (gender at birth, race, age, city location, diagnosis, etc.) that will connect you with other members after you register with PatientReaction. This is soley to connect to other members and you may alter your information to hide your identity. (Keep it close though in order to connect with another patient with your exact diagnosis). The decision to provide this information is not optional; however, if you elect not to finish your profile setup, you will not be able to access certain content, features, or services available on or through PatientReaction.
(b) Non-personal information. We automatically collect anonymous usage information that does not identify an individual user ("non-personal information") to help us understand how users use PatientReaction. For example, each time you use PatientReaction we automatically collect the type of web browser you use, your operating system, your Internet Service Provider, your IP address, the pages you view, and the time and duration of your visits to PatientReaction. This is for security purposes only and will not be used or shared maliciously.
(c) Cookies and Web Beacons. We use cookies (a small file containing a string of characters that uniquely identifies your web browser) and web beacons (an electronic file placed within a web site that monitors usage). We use cookies and web beacons to improve the quality of PatientReaction. Most web browsers are initially set up to accept cookies, but you can reset your web browser to refuse all cookies or to indicate when a cookie is being sent. (d) Affiliates. Change of Control. We may share non-personal information and personal information with entities controlling, controlled by, or under common control with PatientReaction. In the event that PatientReaction is merged, sold, or in the event of a transfer of some or all of our assets, we may disclose or transfer non-personal information and personal information in connection with such transaction.

You access such third-party websites or content at your own risk. You should always read the privacy policy of a third-party website before disclosing any information to the website.
Please be advised that, whenever you voluntarily post information to any PatientReaction area or any other public site, such information can and may be accessed by the public. This means that any person or entity with access to such information can potentially use it for any purpose, including sending unsolicited communications.
Information that we collect is stored on servers that PatientReaction solely manages using standard security procedures and practices appropriate to the nature of the information in an effort to protect information from unauthorized access, destruction, use, modification, or disclosure. However, no data transmission over the Internet can be guaranteed to be 100% secure. As a result, while we strive to protect information transmitted on or through PatientReaction, we cannot and do not guarantee or warrant the security of any information you transmit on or through PatientReaction and you do so at your own risk.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13 (users must be at least 13 years old to use the platform). If we become aware that we have inadvertently received personal information from a child under the age of 13, we will delete such information from our records.
