Yes. You can create, edit, delete, save and archive your own blogs within PatientReaction. You write the title, enter your mood, upload a relavent cover image(optional) and use the editor to write the body of your blog. Very easy to use and publish your everyday health care experiences for other members to view.
A blog page linked to your username is automatically created and populated with your blogs as you write them. These blogs will also be displayed in the blog search area for other members to view, like, share and comment on.
The blogs are only visible within the site to other members. They will not be available on the world wide web and search engines.
This helps start conversations regarding your diagnosis and/or your health care experiences due to your condition. You can respond to their comments under the blog or message them directly.
In a play on words, a Reaction (not like an allergic reaction) are your personal health care experiences or review of your course of treatment due to your condition. This can be related to a doctor you have seen, a hospital you have visited or even your experience with a insurance company. It is a way to share your Reaction(response) to the care you have received to date with the world so that other patients/caregivers can be more informed during the different stages of their care plan. Simply put, Reaction responses are meant to inform other patients/ caregivers in a precise manner where blogs contain more detailed commentary.
Select "My Reactions" from the menu once you log in, this will bring you to your management screen. Under "My Reactions" you can post new Reactions and view your current ones.
You must enter the subject area from the dropdown. You will then enter the title, location, reaction type (good/bad/neutral) and the Reaction text. All fields are required to post a Reaction.
Yes. Reactions are the one aspect of PatientReaction that is viewable to the public as well as internally. Reactions are the public voice for the members to discuss their treatment experiences so that other patient’s, caregivers will gain important knowledge regarding all aspects of their care no matter what stage of the treatment plan they are in. Posting your reaction (response) is what creates the dialog for other people to join the platform and encourages them to share their entire treatment experience.
Reactions can be deleted but cannot be edited.
