The members who use the site discuss treatment experiences and their interaction with the health care community. PatientReaction is not responsible for any of it's members opinions or information shared as it is an open forum.

We provide an open platform for patient's and caregivers so that they can share their healthcare experiences with one another for reciprocal benefit.

Yes, you must submit an advertisement to us and we will review it. Once the advertisement is confirmed suitable for our site, we will email you with payment options to get your advertisement up on the site as soon as possible.

PatientReaction hosts a variety of ads from Google Adsense as well as paid ads submitted directly to us. Since we are a medical social network, advertisements relating to the health care community as well as many mainstream companies are acceptable.

Revolving ads are ads that cycle through at specific time intervals. Several ads in one spot may revolve every 5-10 seconds a visitor is on the page.

No. The rate at the time of sign up will be the price for the duration of the time you advertise with us on the site. Thus, it is in your best financial interest to set up your ads as soon as possible as rates will inevitably increase.

PatientReaction reserves the right to reject any advertisement that does not meet our standards. Your ad will not be featured on the site until full payment has been received. You must specify how long you would like to run your ad on our website and provide an ad to be ready for display according to the specs listed here: advertising rates. PatientReaction has a graphic designer on hand if you require an ad to be made. (an additional $35/hour fee will be added to your total bill)

You may use PatientReaction for the sole purpose of sharing your medical and personal experiences during the time you were fighting your particular condition. You may not use PatientReaction to violate any applicable local, state, national, or international law, including without limitation any applicable laws relating to antitrust or other illegal trade or business practices, federal and state securities laws, regulations promulgated by the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, any rules of any national or other securities exchange, and any U.S. laws, rules, regulations governing the export and re-export of commodities or technical data.

You may not upload or transmit any material that infringes or misappropriates any person's copyright, patent, trademark, or trade secret, or disclose via PatientReaction any information the disclosure of which would constitute a violation of any confidentiality obligations you may have. Any offensive or pornographic images will result in an immediate ban from PatientReaction.

You are strictly prohibited from communicating on or through PatientReaction.com any slanderous, unlawful, harmful, offensive, threatening, abusive, libelous, harassing, defamatory, vulgar, obscene, profane, hateful, fraudulent, sexually explicit, racially, ethnically, or otherwise objectionable material of any sort, including, but not limited to, any material that encourages conduct that would constitute a criminal offense, give rise to civil liability, or otherwise violate any applicable local, state, national, or international law.

PatientReaction may, but is not obligated to, monitor or review any areas on the PatientReaction platform where users transmit or post communications or communicate solely with each other, including but not limited to user posts and blogs along with the content of any such communications. PatientReaction, however, will have no liability related to the content of any such communications, whether or not arising under the laws of copyright, libel, privacy, obscenity, or otherwise. PatientReaction may edit or remove content on the PatientReaction platform at their discretion at anytime.

PatientReaction reserves the right to terminate or suspend your access to and use of PatientReaction, or parts of the platform, without notice, if we believe, in our sole discretion, that such use is in violation of any applicable law; is harmful to our interests or the interests, including intellectual property or other rights, of another person or entity; or where PatientReaction has reason to believe that you are in violation of these Terms and Conditions of Use.

We collect information that personally identifies you, such as your username, email address and other information when you register. Your profile information must be entered before getting access to the site. This includes first name(or any other nickname) gender, date of birth, location and diagnosis. This information is needed to connect you with other members.

We will not share your information with anybody else outside of the platform. Unlike most social media companies we do not share your information to advertisers.

You may review, correct, update, or change your personal information at any time by changing the relevant setting in your account profile.

Your personal information can be removed from our servers upon request after deleting your account. Simply contact us at support@patientreaction.com to begin the deletion process. If you don't, your username, email address, and information will remain in case you want to revive your account.

We use non-personal information and personal information for internal purposes only. Namely, to send service notifications, to customize the advertising and content you see, to improve PatientReaction.com, to conduct research, to solicit your feedback/input about PatientReaction.com and to provide more relevant services, advertisements on or through PatientReaction.com.
