Beta launch for the PatientReaction platform

PatientReaction contains over 8,000 of the most common conditions that affect mankind and the list is ever growing. Our easy to use platform gives patients and caregivers a way to share their health care experiences via personal blogs, community posts, messaging and more.

The Beta testing for PatientReaction is set to launch very shortly as we begin to test and map out where to improve the platform. Initially the platform will be opened for registration to a limited number of users. The accumulation of users and their content will be used to test the platform and create more informative sections relating to members exact diagnosis. (Easier way to find/connect with another patient like yourself.)

At the beginning, the content will be limited as the platform is in a startup phase. As a result, the platform may seem barren, dead, empty, deserted; ok you get the idea. Your initial content will be the seed to help the platform grow. Therefore, we encourage all users to write blogs, reactions and community posts for the benefit of all engaged. This will ultimately help build out the platform for the upcoming release of the mobile application. Once finalized and approved for free download at the app stores, the user accounts and content will rise significantly.

We believe that by giving patients a platform to share their past medical experiences will ultimately help inform others with the same exact diagnosis. By making this comprehensive medical social network available we trust that patient outcomes will be affected in positive manner and ultimately lead to a reduction in the third leading cause of death in the United States (medical error).

I know there are a lot of social media platforms currently available, and some may be too burned out to sign up for, yet another application. PatientReaction is setup to act as both an informative medical resource and a social media site (more to come next blog). Simply signing up and writing as many blogs as you can based upon on your health care experiences creates a database of content that will help inform others in the future. The social features are an additional important bonus.
